Local Events to Enjoy this Spring and Summer

Local Events to Enjoy this Spring and Summer

The last part of our mission statement is “and a hope of enriching lives.” One of the ways we hope we enrich lives here at Harbinger Homes is by helping people find their dream home in a community that is a perfect match for their families. We currently have new home communities in Wake Forest, Wendell, Zebulon, and Raleigh and our newest community, Tuscany, is located in Clayton, North Carolina. One of the things we love about the new home communities where we build our CustomCrafted and ReadyCrafted homes is there are so many fun things to do in the surrounding area for people of all ages. We have compiled a list of a few of the events that are going on throughout the summer and whether you are looking for a family-friendly movie night, a chance to support local businesses, live music, or more, we know there is a little something for everyone.

Wendell:

The Wendell Market

On June 2 and September 1, The Wendell Market will be open from 6-9 at Campen Row. The Wendell Market allows the opportunity for people to buy locally grown and produced products. This local market helps increase access to fresh, locally produced, and safe food for everyone; it encourages and supports the efforts of local, independent, and small-scale farmers, growers, and artisans seeking to sell their products directly to consumers; and helps create a sense of community for everyone.

Zebulon:

Carolina Mudcats Game

The Carolina Mudcats have kicked off their latest season of minor league baseball in Zebulon, NC. Located about 25 minutes east of downtown Raleigh, Five County Stadium, which has been home to the Mudcats for more than 30 years, will have over 60 games in their 2022 season. After every home game on Friday nights, the Mudcats light up the sky with Friday Night Fireworks and music. Also, every home game on Tuesdays is Bark in the Park which allows fans to bring their dogs with them for a night of fun! Tickets start at just $10 a person.

These are not the only events going on this summer, but we hope you were able to learn about at least one that you would like to attend! If you want to find out more about the communities we build in, send us a message and we would love to tell you more and help you find the perfect community for you and your family.
