Brian Herring
Co-founder/owner
As a third-generation homebuilder, Brian Herring continues a legacy of craftsmanship, quality, and tradition in his role as co-owner of Harbinger Homes. Brian’s mission is simple: “We are a family business, dedicated to building high-quality homes for families like ours.” With a focus on custom homes, townhomes, and expert remodeling services across Raleigh, Durham, and Wake Forest, NC, Brian leads a team of dedicated professionals and trusted tradesmen. Together, they bring exceptional skill and care to every project, ensuring each home reflects the values of Harbinger Homes and the families they serve.
Nicholas Byrd
Co-founder/owner
Nicholas Byrd is a dedicated husband and father of two who calls Four Oaks home. As Broker In Charge and a Realtor, Nicholas combines his passion for real estate with a strong commitment to community service, volunteering as both an EMT and firefighter in his hometown. He has been actively involved in the construction industry since 2016, where he applies his values of family first, responsiveness, and delivering quality work. Nicholas believes that building strong, lasting homes starts with a deep care for the community and the people who live there.
Michael Bradley
Project Manager
Michael Bradley is a devoted husband and father of one, proudly serving the community of Four Oaks, where he lives and volunteers as a Captain EMT and firefighter. With over 10 years of experience in construction and 5 years as a superintendent, Michael brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his role as Project Manager at Harbinger Homes. Known for his responsiveness and commitment to quality, Michael ensures that every project runs smoothly, delivering the best possible outcomes for homeowners and the community he cares deeply about.
Keli Byrd
Design Coordinator
Keli Byrd is a devoted wife and mother of two who resides in Four Oaks. With over 10 years of experience in design, she brings creativity and a keen eye for detail to her role as Design Coordinator at Harbinger Homes. Keli’s passion for crafting beautiful and functional living spaces reflects her belief in putting family first and her commitment to quality. Deeply connected to her community, she takes pride in transforming houses into homes that truly reflect the families who live in them.
Trent Johnson
Director of Purchasing
As Director of Purchasing, Trent oversees purchasing operations for Harbinger Homes. His background spans commercial and residential construction, with a career focused on the full preconstruction lifecycle, from initial estimating to material procurement and team leadership. He holds a degree from East Carolina University and lives in Clayton, where he spends his time outside of work with his wife and twin boys.
Taylor Wells
Assistant Project Manager
As Assistant Project Manager, Taylor brings more than 13 years of management experience to Harbinger, along with experience owning and operating an underground utility company. His hands-on approach, responsiveness, and attention to detail help support a smooth building process and Harbinger’s commitment to quality homes. Outside of work, Taylor is a dedicated husband and proud girl dad of two.
